2 people that our group was particularly concerned about have been found safe after the earthquake! One is the aunt of one of our Dental team members who joined our group on our mission trip last May. Her house did sustain damage and she is currently sleeping outside a local school.
The other person we were waiting to hear about was Jean-Claude, the local caretaker of Eden Garden Orphanage who also lives in Port-au-Prince. Amazingly, though other houses around him were demolished, his house was untouched.
We were relieved that both of these people that we know are ok after so many the stories of un-happy endings we have seen this week.
